In developing St. Stephen’s Missional Objectives, a desire was expressed to offer training to help people deal with grief.
Listening Skills Workshop 7:00 pm Wednesday April 29, will be held at St. Stephen’s. This will be led by the Rev’d Canon Ed Swayze. The content is based on material developed for the Calling and Caring Ministry by Dr. John Savage. It is good training for lay visitors. It teaches active listening skills, which can be used to respond to people who are working through their grief.
